Well…we were the leading bidder on a great Wohnmobile on ebay
(Austria). But something about the deal really bugged Slice. So he did
some research and discovered that this particular Wohnmobile was
purchased from Poland and put back on ebay just a few days later.
Hmmmm.
There is a huge stolen vehicle racket out of Poland. And this
Wohnmobile…a more than perfect specimen…originated in Poland. It
had everything! Far beyond our expectations and needs including things
like sound system, DVD with a wide flat screen, alarm, GPS, heater,
shower, toilet…everything one could possibly want in a wohnmobile.
What no bicycle rack or espresso machine?! Good grief. Still more than
we expected to find for our budget.
It was up for sale on ebay
Austria 5 days after it was purcahased from Poland. A little
suspicious. Not expecting a response, Slice messaged the seller to ask
why he was selling. “Because it doesn’t have power steering!”
Plausible but we didn’t buy it.
Back to the drawing board.
Dear Ice, it quite well known that Slice is a supreme skeptic, is it not? what would be the consequences to youse guys if it was stolen? could it be a gift from the universe? could the seller provide appropriate papers, Etc?
