Cathedral de Notre Dame Strasbourg

Cathedral de Notre Dame in Strasbourg…another very old and gobsmacking gothic cathedral…similar but different to the Ulmer Muenster, built around the same time.

These gothic churches are often very dark inside and it is difficult to get good photos.  The color and beauty of the stained-glass windows are impossible to capture with our unprofessional digital camera.  Usually I can get it with video…but not this time.

This is the best of the best of the photos of the glass…

Here are slides of the Cathedral de Notre Dame of Strasbourg and more of the streets of Strasbourg.

okay, i feel cheated, those windows must be spectacular, and i guess these are one of those things, that no matter the quality of the camera, or it’s operator, you just have to see it in person, you luckies! armchair envious.
