The Mekong River

by Ice on August 16, 2011

Yesterday was a brilliant sunny day in Phnom Penh which means I snapped many good photos.

We walked through a local food market and then took a tuk tuk across the bridge to the other side of the Tonle Sap. This lead us to the mighty Mekong River. The photo to the left is the view from our hotel roomof the Tonle Sap and in the distance is a promontory where a big hotel is currently under construction.

On the other side of that point is the Might Mekong

I compiled a whole series of photos from yesterday’s outing in a video slide show. Before I leave you with that I thought I would give you a little lesson in the Khmer language.

Good Morning: arun sour sdei
